With a metropolitan area population of about two million, Indianapolis provides residents many choices on where and how to live.
2007, Forbes Magazine stated that the Greater Indianapolis Area was one of the most affordable areas for housing of any major city.
Our vibrant downtown provides choices of upscale condos and historical homes, as well as townhomes.
Downtown is alive with dozens of restaurants, night clubs, Circle Center Mall, Indianapolis Zoo with the adjacent White River State Park, Children's Museum, Indiana Historical Society, Victory Field (home of the Triple A Indianapolis Indians), Conseco Fieldhouse (home of the Pacers basketball team), and, of course, our World Champion Indianapolis Colts play at Lucas Oil Stadium. In addition to hosting many events for local residents, the Indianapolis Convention Center showcases the city by hosting numerous conventions throughout the year.
Just a few miles west is the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). Both local residents and visitors enjoy the fabulous museum as well as attending the "Indianapolis 500" (Indy Car) and "Brickyard 400" (Nascar) auto races. In addition, IMS also hosts the Moto GP (motorcycle grand prix).
The Indiana Fairgrounds plays host to the Indiana State Fair, Indianapolis Ice, as well as to numerous other special events.
The surrounding metro area provides housing options that range from horse farms to family-oriented developments, retirement centers, luxury condos and maintenance-free living communities. There's something for everyone!
